Final #6

This is my Meshmoon Library made from PDF and Youtube Videos regarding immersive education . It is a final exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc

Above is the deconstructed world from the previous library screenshots.

The above three screen shots are of my virtual library featuring all of the required PDF and YouTube documents. The major difficulty for this was making all of the documents fit in an area and load appropriately without crashing my Meshmoon. Also, inputting the YouTube videos so they would not all play at once was a major difficulty.

FINAL PROJECT: TESTING MY FELLOW CLASSMATES' IMMERSIVE LIBRARIES.

Above, I am in Rory's world, "build a 3D rocket Rory" watching a vide of a forum on digital animation.

Above i am in Brian's world "ConnerBR". It has a great architectural design housing the various library items as seen above.

Above, I am in Cristina Kos' world "ChristinaKos" viewing a youtube video on immersive education at the NeuroGaming conference.

WebGL Chrome Experiments the FAIL IN FIREFOX

WebGL Chrome Experiments that fail in Firefox:

Valley of Uncanney did not seem to render things exactly, but looks relatively fine.

The Find your Way to Oz app caused my firefox to crash and froze on the loading screen. It also had a warning: recommend to use Chrome notice when launched.

All the remaining activities were fine in FireFox.

OpenGL 3d:

The Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit

The above two screen shots are from the Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit game in 3d OpenGL. They are adventure games and have great 3d displays of environments and mythical creatures featured in J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy realm.

DinoHunt

The above two screenshots are from the 3d OpenGL game DinoHunt. The game pits you in a 3d environment (that looks very similar to mesh moon's environmental graphics) and has you hunt dinosaurs and upgrade your different statistics through the different hunting missions.

Find Your Way to Oz

'

The above images are from the open3d game "Find your way to Oz" made by Disney. The game is made to go along with the recent movie "Oz" staring Justin Franco. It features games like avoiding the tornado in the air balloon as seen above.

Final #3: Group 3D Building Project

Group Building Project:

This is the final house made in secondlife as part of a 3d group building project. I personally constructed the outdoor porch area on the back of the house overlooking the ocean with a few other outdoor items on the porch (buckets and an animal). Below that is the learning ladder performed with applicable objects created. . It is a final exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at
